On December 2, 2015, Inland Regional Center in San Bernardino was devastated by a terrorist attack where fourteen people died and 22 others were injured. Our community was, and still is, in shock. These attacks were within 10 miles of our offices, so to say that this event affected us like no other, would be an understatement. Unfortunately, we cannot undo what has happened, however, we can take steps to help assist in the absence of those lost and those affected.

In the wake of this tragedy, Hangar 24 Craft Brewery put together the #BEERFORSB campaign. Various breweries, wholesalers, distributors, and retailers within the beer community joined Hangar 24 in raising funds for those affected by this attack. It was the goal of every donor to help alleviate the financial burden victims, survivors, and families are experiencing in the aftermath.

Hangar 24 Craft Brewery hosted a charity event on December 26th, where all proceeds, including cost and profit (minus sales tax) were donated to the San Bernardino United fund, a fund managed by United Way that benefits those affected by this tragedy. This event took place at the brewery, where politicians, radio hosts, food vendors, and first responders showed their support for the community.

To help propel this campaign, Hangar 24 Craft Brewery created memorial t-shirts where 100% of the proceeds were donated into the #BEERFORSB fund.

Our Vow

Over the course of this campaign, we will continuously update how much money has been generated and who it's assisting. All monies raised will go directly to the victims' families and survivors via the SB United Fund, a joint effort between Arrowhead United Way and SB County Board of Supervisors (All fees waived for this fund). Please note that Hangar 24 Craft Brewery manages Hangar 24 Charities for free. It is the founding principle within the charity to optimize funding for those in need.
